Meet Robyn, Designer of Moss & Moonstone

Hi, I’m Robyn (she/her) — Welcome to my ADHD-certified (just kidding, that’s not a thing) little corner of the world: Moss & Moonstone Cottage. Come on in!
I’m a coffee-drinking, small-talk-hating, GenX mom of two awesome kids, living in Oceanside on Long Island, NY.
My vibe is Boho and nature-inspired with an urban edge, a touch of witchy, and a dash of irreverent. I’m most inspired by gemstones (who isn't?) and artisan components - many of which I create myself, so my pieces tend to be one-of-a-kind. Currently I’m very smitten with polymer clay, but I also do beadwork, enameling, copper electroforming or etching, and metalsmithing as well. Each piece I create is infused with intention, working with different materials, colors, and textures to create jewelry that speaks to the wearer as an extension of themselves.
I’m also vegan, and have been for close to 20 years, which means I don’t use leather, silk, beeswax, bones, teeth, pearls, or shells. Any feathers that may be used are sourced ethically. I also use environmentally-friendly materials, which are either upcycled or sustainable, and I incorporate ethically-sourced gemstones.
If you love jewelry that’s meaningful, ethical, but also doesn’t take itself too seriously-grab your mug and get cozy. You’re my people. 🤍
